MAJANIEMEN VUOKRAMÖKKI

Majaniemen vuokramökki on retkeilijän tukikohta keskellä Etelä-Konneveden kansallispuistoa, Etelä-Konneveden kirkkaiden vesien ääressä.

While hiking the Kolmen Vuoren trail, you can stay overnight at the halfway point, enjoy the tranquility of the national park, and relax in the gentle steam of Majaniemi's old log sauna.

Majaniemi is also well-suited as a base for boaters and paddlers, with a water route of approximately 8 km from Hanhitaipale harbor. From the cottage, you can also hike the 2.8 km Loukkuvuori loop, which leads to the Loukkuvuori scenic viewpoint.

The cottage rental is handled through the online store by selecting the desired date from the reservation calendar below. Available dates are marked in dark green, while booked dates are shown in red.

Mökissä on sängyt ja patjat neljälle hengelle, lisäksi eteisessä on kaksi kerrosänkyä. Pihapiirissä on myös mahdollista telttailla omassa teltassa tai laittaa riipumatto vanhojen mäntyjen väliin. The cottage is available for rent during the summer season, from May 1st to October 31st. The rental period always starts at 12:00 noon and ends at 11:00 AM the following day.

Mökin pihapiirissä voi satunnaisesti käydä tauolla ja ruokailemassa Majaniemi ry:n osakkaiden järjestämiä melonta- tai laivaristeilyryhmiä klo 12:00 – 17:00 välisenä aikana.

Muuna aikana mökki on täysin vuokraajan käytössä.

Majaniemi cottage is located on its own 0.5-hectare plot at the southern tip of Majaniemi, in the heart of the national park, 300 meters down a side trail from the Kolmen Vuoren hiking route. Originally, the tip of the peninsula was home to the Koski vicarage fishing lodge, owned by the Rautalampi parish, where the vicarage residents would take summer boat trips. Today, it is owned by the Laukaa parish, which has leased it to Majaniemi Ry. The association has restored the cottage and now rents it out as a base for hikers.
